8/21 Goode Thoughts - A Short Post This Week
Friends, it is going to be a short update this week. Things are still moving forward for September 7 and we are excited that the day is nearly here! So let’s jump in!
Prayers – If you haven’t already been praying, I invite you to be praying for all the pieces that are still to be taken care of in the merging of our congregations. But most of all, please be praying for our witness through all of what we do and share. Pray that people see Jesus in us, pray that people feel not only welcome but also experience belonging in the community, and pray for lots of yes’s to the Spirit for the work that is ahead.

Expansive Ephesians Bible Study – I am very excited to share this study of the book of Ephesians with you. It will help to set some foundations for what we’ll be exploring together in worship and congregational life as we get started in September. It will be available via resoundingjoy.church next week!
Wednesdays with Ed – This coming Wednesday, I’ll be at Greenhills from 12-2 along with Scout. Scout had a great time at Pleasant Run this week and looks forward to meeting more folks this week!
Schedule Stuff – Two of the kids are all moved back to school and one left to go! I’ll be flying to Boston right after worship on August 31 to get Eldra moved back into Tufts and will be back on Tuesday night September 2!
