Exodus 15:19-17:7

This is really coming to the end of the first main part of Exodus. After this we move into the formation of the Israelite nation (even though they won't be in the land for a LONG time)
Miriam's song - Maybe this is more original than the one of Moses. Often fragments tend to be more authentic
This section begins the if/then of much of the rest of the Torah - if you obey, then you will be blessed, etc
Manna - God providing for their needs. Water too!
Complaints - honestly its easy to diss the Hebrews for this but we might do the same in their position!

Matthew 22:1-33

Another parable speaking to the new thing that Jesus is doing.
But I truly don't know what to do with vv11-14
Separation of church and state - re the taxes teaching?
Resurrection debate - Another example of how we can get tied aroudn the axle of minutae debates...

Psalm 27:1-6 and Proverbs 6:20-26

Psalm 27 - What a beautiful Psalm. Read the whole if you can. But this first half is so beautiful and encouraging. What part of it connects most for you?

Proverbs 6:20-26 - These aren't "God" commands as much as a parent to a child
